Beware the Encroaching Scavengers

As the economy dries out....

Beware the Encroaching Scavengers

Jason,

I regret that I will not be able to join the Creative Consortium as I can find no logic or benefit in the concept of paying hundreds of dollars a month for the "opportunity" to bring you work/talent. I have trouble believing that anyone I'd want to collaborate with would be so desperate as to fall for this pyramid scheme, even with those nice chairs in the lounge. And I have no interest in freelancing for, or bringing in, any client who would be so vain as to make their marketing decisions based on office hipness over quality of the work.

Lastly, I am suspicious of the marginal legality of this operation.

You may have gotten "creative" confused with "retarded" when you conned up this racket.

On a personal note:
As uninspiring, uninformative, and dishonest as our communication has been, not to mention as terribly designed (startrek font?!?!) and off-printed (whoa cyan) and buggy (Unix?! for real?!) TCC's promotional material is, I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt. Now that I have found the real workhorse of your business (and I suspect, the true motivation) buried way deep in the small-print, I must, in shame, re-contact everyone I gave your information to (at least a dozen very talented, very connected, Dallas-based, influential, Advertising professionals... who's worth I really appreciate) and apologize for any time/effort they may have wasted on this sham.

I have, however, gained from this exchange the confidence that neither I, nor anyone I work with, or have worked with, will ever be using your presses or facilities here forward. I have found in practice that dishonesty is a virus that courses the veins of a sickly business and can no more be isolated/treated, than it can be hidden.

Lastly, I would like to invite you to get in on an incredible career opportunity to never contact me again. (For the low cost of $300 a month)

Wishing you all the luck karma affords,
Jonathan Hesser
